Geochemical mapping at the scale of 1:25 000 on the Chrzanów map Sheet M-34-63-D-b (82.5 km2) is a continuation of detailed mapping works initiated in the years 1996–1999 by a pilot elaboration entitled “Detailed geochemical map of Upper Silesia 1:25 000 Sławków map sheet M-34-63-B-b” (Lis, Pasieczna, 1999). The project was ordered by the Ministry of the Environment and it was financed by the Polish National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
